Medicine of the Andes
Wachuma San Pedro Ceremonies
About the Ceremony
The Wachuma also known as San Pedro is a sacred cactus, a very ancient master plant of the Andes. It helps us to connect with our hearts and with the fullness and beauty of the present moment. Wachuma is a teacher deeply connected with the energy of the sun which brings clarity, truth and purpose to our lives.
Our full day ceremonies are hosted at our center Casa Hanuman located in the sacred mountain Pachatusan 10 minutes away from Pisac in the Sacred Valley.
The medicine we drink in ceremony is personally cooked by us and we only use consciously harvested cactus. We drink the medicine early in the day and the ceremony is guided by mantras, moments of silence and connection with nature, sacred fire and connection with the elements. We close the ceremony by nightfall with a warm soup before heading back home.
Our approach in ceremony is rooted in a deep appreaciation for Indian Spirituality and the ancient wisdom from the Andean Cosmovision.
Our next Ceremony will be on Tuesday 28th October
